SIDENOTE: Years of Yarncraft Steins at the Sluggy Freelance Breakables Shop.

Comic for 08/02/2008

After realizing how hard it is to crane your neck to read the side panel I have decided to save your neck by giving you the side-box text here: "Warning! Years of Yarncraft may cause upset stomach, headache, and marriage counseling. Mild allergic reactions consist of an itchy rash or strange time-loss.  The most common side effects include: abdominal cramping and oily discharge. Some side effects are more severe and, depending on the game-style, may disrupt the function of the kidneys, liver, bone marrow, or other organs. Blood tests are used to monitor such adverse reactions. Mild allergic reactions consist of an itchy rash or slight wheezing. Do not play Years of Yarncraft if you are pregnant or nursing."

And for some dumb reason these last minute replacements (The Forest-Yeti) appears to be a hybrid between Bun-bun and the Rat Creature from Jeff Smith’s Bone (“Stupid, stupid Rabbit Creatures!”) I’m simply acknowledging it. And trembling in fear.

Note: These Yeti are completely different from Those Yeti Over There. Actually you probably shouldn’t even read the weekend strips in this story. Move along…

Factoid: In panel 5 when I was drawing Torg I was picturing him singing “She take my muhhNEE!” When I proofread I saw that it was another part of the song I used. Oh wells.
